Cheyenne Connects with Community

Staff from Safehouse Services launched the BE THE SOLUTION campaign by walking around Cheyenne promoting the BE THE SOLUTION campaign and sharing the message to learn about it. talk about it. change it. with local community members and political figures. They were able to engage in one-on-one conversations about BE THE SOLUTION and preventing sexual violence in Wyoming with members of the Safehouse Board of Directors, Laramie County District Attorney's Office, Rita Meyer, Cheyenne Mayor Kaysen and Governer Mead (pictured) to name a few. Taking time to connect with neighbors, friends, family and other community members to talk about sexual violence (what it is, that it happens in our communities, how we respond to it when we hear about it, how we can prevent it) is a step in the right direction to prevent sexual violence perpetration in the first place. Where have you seen BE THE SOLUTION in your communities?
